Val Vista Place is a Gilbert AZ neighborhood located near the Southeast corner of Val Vista and Elliott in the 85296 zip code. This neighborhood was built in 1994-95 by Continental Homes which is now called Dietz-Crane. These homes have several floorplans ranging from 1293 square feet up to 3530 square feet. About 1/3 of the homes have a swimming pool. Val Vista Place is adjacent to Gilbert High School and boasts a 10-12 acre park which is for residents only. The Val Vista Place Homeowners Association has 5 board members which serve terms from 2-3 years, meet once monthly and consider architectural issues for homeowners that want to make exterior changes to their homes. The HOA board also manages the care of the common areas of which the large park located at Stonecreek and Sierra Madre Aves is their most costly expense. This association has only raised their HOA fees modestly over the last 10 to 15 years. Currently the HOA fee is $105 per quarter. Because of the central location of this neighborhood near I-60, actually it is 3 blocks south of the freeway, and close proximity to Dana Park, it is well located subdivision. Gilbert Police records for 2009 has shown a very low crime rate in this zip code of 85296. |
